April Is National Child Abuse Prevention Month

Sheriff Garcia, along with other local leaders, helped launch National Child Abuse Prevention Month last Thursday at the DePelchin Center. Last year, more than 25,000 reports of child abuse and neglect were filed in Harris County and 67 children died as a result of child abuse.
